The after care programme at Tanfield is an opportunity for parents to collect pupils later from school. In their time at the after school provision the pupils will take part in a range of activities including sports, fitness, crafts, ICT and more. Booking and payment must be made in advance to secure a place. This will help us plan to make sure all of the pupils attending have the best possible experience. Students will be supervised from their classrooms to the lower school hall where the club is based. Collection should be between 4.15 - 5.30pm from the main entrance. Collection is from the lower school hall fire exit.
Camp notes
Due to COVID restrictions and school policies upon the return to school we are only able to offer the full after care package which is from the end of the school day to 5.30pm. There will be no cash or cheque payments going forward for this provision. It will be a cashless system. All bookings must be made through this booking system.
Between 3-3.15pm children will be supervised by staff to the designated child care area to meet Mr Ashman to complete the register. Pupils will take part in a range of activities including sports, crafts, ICT, fitness and more.
Collection can happen anytime between 3.30 and 5.30pm.
The base for childcare is in the Lower School Hall/Conference Room.
Parents to pick up from the Lower School Hall - children will come out through the Fire Exit door which face out onto the car park.
Pick up pre 4.30pm - parents will need to walk onto the site through the Staff Car Park. There is a clearly marked pathway to take when walking.
Pick up post 4.30pm - parents can drive onto the site to pick up.
